The socio-economic and social value team at Temple offers a unique package of skills and experience to ensure that major projects, from new communities or key infrastructure projects, are informed by sound socio-economic intelligence and take ownership of their social and environmental responsibilities.

Working with both public and private sector clients, Temple produces ground-breaking research and authoritative studies to support policy development and inform development strategies.

In recent years, the team has worked on some of the UK’s most important planning, development and infrastructure projects including the Channel Tunnel, Heathrow Airport, HS2, and a major flood alleviation project for the Thames basin, the River Thames Scheme.

Our Approach to Social Value

Our expertise in such fields as behaviour science, community profiling and qualitative research techniques allows us to look further into community experience and advise clients on how best to embed and present the value of their projects/programme.
