We aim to help communities thrive by working with clients to engage and achieve wider social value.

Through a wide range of services, from socio-economic assessment for planning applications to engaging local residents in citizens assemblies, we enable our clients to get under the skin of potential project impacts on the key groups who will be affected.

Of course, social value and engagement can mean different things to different people. We focus these concepts on the actual impact of the project in question. This means investigating the social, economic and environmental impacts arising from a particular scheme. We advise our clients on how best to understand and articulate the impacts and footprint of their project/programme.

Temple personnel utilise a range of established and emerging techniques that allow insights into community impact. Our work in this area includes carrying out Health Impact Assessments, Equalities Impact Assessments and Community Consultation, as well as helping clients better understand emerging techniques such as Environmental Net Gain and Social Value Assessment.

Our Approach to Social Value

Our expertise in such fields as behaviour science, community profiling and qualitative research techniques allows us to look further into community experience and advise clients on how best to embed and present the value of their projects/programme.
