The Green Careers Hub Goes Live

Temple is pleased to announce we are part of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA), Green Careers Hub, which launches today.

Temple is thrilled to be part of this resource hoping it will inspire people to work in the ‘Green sector’. There is a wide range of career opportunities not only in the green sector but at Temple as well. As we move to a green economy, everyone will need to think about how they can impact green organisational goals and fulfil their roles more sustainably. It is great that the Green Careers hub is showcasing these jobs in a positive way, and we hope that this will result in a new range of talented individuals joining the Green Sector.

Highlighted in the government’s recent Net Zero Growth Plan, ‘Powering up Britain’, the Green Careers Hub features original content from IEMA and a range of partners and contributors, brought together in a single, easy to use resource. There are tips on job hunting and career advice, video case studies from a variety of roles, a jobs board, and a “jargon buster” to demystify sustainability terminology.

Green skills are needed in all sectors of the economy. A key example is how far short we are on the number of electricians needed to support the government’s ambitions for electric vehicles. We must have a plan in place to tackle the immediate issue of the climate emergency by working towards a robust net zero strategy and emphasis on renewable energy.” – Sarah Mukherjee MBE, CEO of IEMA
