Temple is a B Corp

23.02.2023 2 min read

It’s official! Temple is now a B Corp. We’ve joined a global community of businesses that are dedicated to building a better world and join the ranks of 6,000+ companies worldwide that are using business as a force for good.

We achieved B Corp certification in December 2022 and intentionally kept it low-key due to the festive period.

Temple has a long and proud history of environmental consulting. We are a purpose driven business, with our Sustainability Strategy built around the Zero Harm / Net Gain principles; in recognition that businesses must do more to change the economic status quo and be forces for good. We consider joining the B Corp movement to be a natural fit and an opportunity to support wider transformative objectives.

As a quick reminder, to achieve B Corp Certification, a company must meet a score of at least 80 points on the B Impact Assessment. Well, Temple scored 94.2 which is both a great achievement and just the start because it gives us a baseline to improve against. See more details about how we did and see other B Corps on this page: https://www.bcorporation.net/it-it/find-a-b-corp.

As new joiners we are finding our way, exploring the movement, and ramping up to be a part of B Corp Month B Corp Month – B Lab UK (bcorporation.uk)

“For Temple, this is another fantastic milestone in our 25 year history of being a leader in the environment and sustainability. It reinforces our position as a purpose-led business, committed to making a meaningful environmental and social difference together. It also directly aligns with our sustainability strategy, which is built on the premise of Zero Harm / Net Gain – a premise applied to everything we do and every significant decision we make. Being a B Corp means that we have established ourselves in a global movement that uses business as a force for good.” Mark Skelton, CEO Temple.
