Tom Simpson BSc MSc is an Environmental Consultant with over 5 years’ experience working for consultancies and conservation organisations. He has special interests in ecosystem services, urban greening, and sustainable mobility.
Since joining Temple in 2021, Tom has worked collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams, helping to manage the impacts of development on nature. He has notable project management and team leadership experience on major infrastructure programmes, as well as diverse experience surveying UK protected species on commercial, residential and infrastructure development projects.
Tom has previously delivered practical conservation sessions aimed at enhancing biodiversity and is actively involved with urban rewilding projects in his spare time. Additionally, his research on the environmental impacts of artificial lawns is published in Urban Forestry & Urban Greening.
