Tom Simpson BSc MSc ACIEEM is a Senior Environmental Consultant and Health and Safety Advisor. With over 7 years’ experience working for consultancies and conservation organisations, Tom has developed particular interests in urban greening, sustainable mobility, and occupational safety and health.
Since joining Temple in 2021, Tom has worked across multidisciplinary teams to manage the impacts of development on nature while fostering safe and healthy working environments. He has notable project management and team leadership experience on major infrastructure programmes and diverse expertise surveying UK protected species on commercial, residential, and infrastructure development projects.
Outside of work, Tom is actively involved in urban rewilding projects and has delivered practical conservation sessions aimed at enhancing biodiversity. Additionally, his research on the environmental impacts of artificial lawns, published in Urban Forestry & Urban Greening, underscores his dedication to sustainability.
