Chris joined Temple in 2011 working on HS2 Appraisal of Sustainability before becoming the EIA Manager for the HS2 Phase 1 London to West Midlands 90 km ‘Country South’ section. Chris continued in this role from hybrid Bill submission, through consultation , petitioning and the committee stages.
Chris then took on a similar EIA Manager role for HS2 Phase 2b western leg from Crewe to Manchester in 2017 and saw this project through the Working Draft ES and the early stages of the hybrid Bill submission.
Prior to working for Temple Chris worked in a number of environmental and multi -disciplinary consultancies specialising in the environmental planning on major infrastructure and development projects including highway schemes, urban regeneration, waste and renewable energy projects.
Outside work Chris enjoys cycling, running, gardening and classic cars.
