Temple is thrilled to announce that James Sanders, EIA property senior director, is one of the Impact Assessment Network Volunteers who has been given the honour of the IAIA 2024 Award for Regional Contribution.

The award acknowledges the steadfast commitment of the Impact Assessment Network over the past 10 years within IEMA to advancing the impact assessment field. Their exceptional leadership, dedication to best practices, and ongoing contributions have been instrumental.

The IA volunteer setup excels with a dynamic IA Steering Committee and IA Network Chair, comprising 15 IEMA members elected to serve three-year terms. Adding to the jubilation is a collection of volunteer working groups, each focused on tackling specific technical challenges and topics. These groups are a combination of IEMA volunteer members and esteemed non-IEMA experts from academia, government, and industry, all coming together to celebrate collaborative progress.

This recognition is a testament to James’s commitment to impact assessment over the last two years responding to government consultations, reviewing and contributing to guidance and editing outlook journals promoting good impact assessment in the UK.

Please join us in extending our warmest congratulations to James and the other volunteers on this well-deserved award.
