Toby Wastling

Associate Director - Environment

Toby is an Associate Director in the EIA – Infrastructure Division. He joined Temple in 2010 and has worked on a number of environmental consenting projects as well as being the Bid Manager.

Currently, he is responsible for the coordination and delivery of infrastructure projects and is a people manager for the EIA – Infrastructure Division.

Toby is working as an Environment Section Lead on East West Rail and is the Socio-economic Topic Lead for HS2 Phase 2b EIA (Manchester Leg). He is a Chartered Geographer (CGeog; FRGS) and a Practitioner Member of IEMA (PIEMA).

He’s been involved in high-profile infrastructure projects including DP World London Gateway, High Speed 2 (Phase 1 Appraisal of Sustainability; Environmental Impact Assessment; and Euston Design and Build), Sizewell C, Garden Bridge and Crossrail 2. Prior to working at Temple, Toby worked for AECOM as a seasonal ecologist.

Outside of the office Toby plays cricket, can regularly be seen at his local parkrun and closely follows Arsenal FC and Yorkshire CCC.
