Marie joined Temple in 2022 and is a Consultant on the Socio-economic and Social Value team. She holds an MSc in Anthropology and Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
At Temple, she brings her anthropological and research background to aid in Planning and Communities projects, both on the ground and from the Temple offices in London. Marie’s key projects have involved research into Transport Related Social Exclusion (TRSE) in the North of England, for which she conducted stakeholder engagement in key areas identified as vulnerable to TRSE. This was with a view to understanding the ways in which lack of access to transport disproportionately affects those already living at a degree of socio-economic disadvantage. She has also led and delivered stakeholder engagement and focus groups on behalf of Bury Metropolitan Council and Surrey County Council.
Outside of the office, Marie is a keen Jazz vocalist and volunteers with the community foodbank and female empowerment programmes.
