Luke joined Temple as Director of Digital Delivery in September 2022, to lead the in-house team of digital and geospatial professionals.
Luke is an experienced technologist and leader, in blockchain, digital transformation, and geospatial technologies. With a career spanning 20 years in roles as a systems expert and moving into leadership, Luke has moved with industry trends to deploy technology toward innovative and compelling opportunities.
Luke has 8 years of experience as a GIS manager in the public sector and an additional 8 years in other spatial roles spanning public rights of way, kinematic surveys, and point cloud with terrestrial lidar. He has led a project that won the Geoplace Exemplar Award in 2015 and has multiple case studies on the use of GIS data in the public sector, including the NTM case study with Bluesky, the use of aerial imagery with Getmapping and has presented at OS conferences on the use of OS Master Map for contract monitoring for the public sector.
His track record is a demonstrable history of working in, leading, and building multi-disciplinary teams to deliver front end to back-end solutions, spanning startups, SME, and enterprise environments. Recent experience includes cybersecurity for a UK leading insurer and contracts in fan monetisation and customer engagement in Adtech for a multinational conglomerate corporation.
