Lucy Elliott

Associate Director - Ecology

Lucy joined Temple in 2018 and is now a Principal Ecologist, heading up our Wakefield office. Lucy has a background in large-scale infrastructure and has held key roles on a number of high-profile highways schemes including M1 Junction 28-31 and 32-35a Smart Motorways, M42 Junction 6 Improvements, East Leeds Orbital Road (ELOR) and Shrewsbury Northwest Relief Road (NWRR).

Whilst at Temple, Lucy has authored the ecology chapters for two of the community areas of the formal Environmental Statement for HS2 Phase 2B Lot 1 (Western Leg) and has acted as Project Manager and Ecology Lead on behalf of a Tier 3 sub-contractor responsible for vegetation clearance across multiple sites for HS2 Phase 1 North Enabling Works Contract. Lucy also acts as Project Director on multiple smaller-scale schemes across a range of sectors. Lucy is also a full member of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM) and holds licences to survey for bats and great crested newts.

Outside of work, Lucy enjoys walking, particularly in the Lake District, food, and travel.
