Celebrate “going beyond” with Temple

March marks the start of B Corp Month and this year it’s all about how B Corps “Go Beyond.”

Going beyond is all about showing that B Corp is more than a mark, it’s a movement of businesses determined to make a mark on the world; going beyond only creating a negative impact to managing and measuring all our impact; going beyond the services we deliver; going beyond expectations and ultimately going beyond business as usual, for good.

At Temple, “going beyond” is the basis of our business model and underlines everything that we do, from the advice we provide our clients on all scales of projects, which always strive for the delivery of enhancements and net environmental gains, to the volunteer days we use supporting local causes, to the choices we make in our day-to-day lives, like how we get to work.

This month, not only will we be taking the time to acknowledge and celebrate all the work we do as environmental and sustainability consultants, but also all the little things we do in our everyday lives which add up to make big differences. And we will be sharing all of this with you, watch out on our socials as we reflect on what it means to Temple to be a B Corp and what going beyond really looks like across our business, including those delivering our technical services, such as our EIA, noise, ecology, climate, and air quality colleagues to those leading on our operational sides of things, such as HR and facilities management.

We will also be sharing tips and hints for how you can “go beyond” as we ramp up the competition internally, with our Temple B Corp pledges. We are challenging our colleagues to share and post their pledges for “going beyond” in line with our sustainability strategy.

We can’t wait to bring you along on this journey with us, as we continue to celebrate our new B Corp certification and our thoughts on what it means to go beyond and join other B Corps in doing so.
