Jacqueline Waring

Jacqui joined Temple in 2022 as a Principal Consultant and is the lead arboriculturist or project manager on a wide variety of projects spanning HS2, large scale housing development, commercial and industrial development, and local authority projects across the UK.

A Lantra certified professional tree inspector, she has worked in arboriculture for almost three decades, building and running her own consultancy in the Highlands for over 12 years before relocating to Shropshire in 2019. Her broad experience includes: taking arboricultural issues successfully through the planning process for major house builders such as Barratt Homes and Taylor Wimpey, managing protected tree cover alongside high value commercial property development such as hotel extensions and the ‘Trees for Life’ Rewilding Centre, collaboration with local authorities on GIS based canopy analysis, arboricultural site supervision and compliance monitoring, and BS 5837 based evaluation of both large and small private sites to enable a wide range of development, from private hydro schemes to holiday lodges.

Outside work, Jacqui enjoys writing and digital design, exploring Shropshire on foot, cooking, and spending time with family.
