Hannah Graves

Associate Director - Ecology

Hannah joined Temple in 2018 and has been the Project Manager or Project Director on several of our large HS2 Enabling and Main Works Contracts, for CSJV and SCS in Area South and for Fusion in HS2 Area Central, including a joint venture with RSK. Hannah is a qualified Project Manager with a background in ecology, giving her an unusual range of both technical expertise and project and commercial management skills to apply to effective support of clients on large contracts.

Early in her career, Hannah worked for ten years as a professional ecologist in consultancy and in the public sector including with the Wildlife Trusts and with British Waterways (now the Canal and Rivers Trust), specializing in protected species licensing and management and with a particular emphasis on freshwater and riparian environments. Before returning to a consultancy role with Temple, she also spent several life-changing years managing a farm and hacienda in the Ecuadorian Andes, and developing an endurance ‘swimrun’ sports events start up, including pioneering the sport in New Zealand.

Outside the office Hannah will be found most days involved in some form of outdoor exercise – running, cycling, in a HIIT session or playing touch rugby. She enjoys hiking and bike touring trips, and travelling as much as possible.
