David joined Temple in 2016 and established the office and team of ecologists in Lichfield. As well as supporting the team and developing the business in the Midlands, he manages numerous large and small projects, particularly concentrating on project design and support for planning applications, ornithology and complex ecological assessments.
He is the ornithological technical lead for Phase 2b of HS2 and one of Temple’s leading experts in Biodiversity Net Gain assessment, working with colleagues across the company to develop Environmental Net Gain solutions.
David has worked in ecology since 2004, within large multi-disciplinary companies and small independent consultancies in Scotland and England. He spends most of his spare time with family and pets and listening to classical music.
