Crown Agents work with governments, NGOs, and public and private sector organisations to develop and execute training and professional development programmes.
Temple was commissioned by Crown Agents to undertake interactive environment management training for two clients in 2017 and 2018; the Institute of Monitoring and Implementation Division (IMED), (Ministry of Planning), Bangladesh, and the Ethiopia Road Authority.
Temple developed and delivered bespoke engaging environment management training which included presentations as well as facilitating workshops. Our role was to ensure that the delegates were suitably equipped with skills to deploy their understanding in their organisations.
The training to IMED involved a 6-day training course in Singapore on Construction Environment Management drawing on worldwide case studies from the UK as well as Singapore. It covered topics such as environment monitoring, environment management plans, water quality, and stakeholder engagement. It also included site visits to construction sites such as a desalination plant and also the Singapore Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) Centre.
The training to the ERA involved a 2-day training course with 1 and a half days centred around Construction Environment Management including topics on sustainability reporting and worldwide initiatives, EMS and principles of environmental auditing and half a day course on Health and Safety and Occupational Health.
