Temple’s Women in Infrastructure Dinner 2016
Earlier this month Temple held its first Women in Infrastructure Dinner, hosted by Associate Director Charlene Baker and Principal Consultant Katie Anderton.
The event was held in a private dining room at Tom’s Kitchen. A range of Temple’s female contacts from the infrastructure sector were invited, including planners, environmental consultants, engineers, project managers, property surveyors and lawyers.
The aim of the event was to create an informal and friendly environment for our clients, colleagues and associates to get to know each other better. The evening was a great success and following very positive feedback from our guests we plan to hold another one in the future.
The event comes amid a wave other activity taking place to highlight, promote and celebrate women’s contribution to the built environment. National Women in Engineering Day took place on Thursday 23rd June. Additionally, last month Shine Bid Services’ Women who Build Britain, which seeks to celebrate ‘women building our society’, hosted their first, very inspiring, event. We’re pleased to be making a small contribution to these wider efforts and look forward to trying to find other ways of achieving this.
