Temple secures role on Midlands Connect framework
Temple has been awarded a place on Midlands Connect new four-year Specialist Technical Framework, further securing its position in helping to deliver sustainable transport benefits across the Midlands. We will support Midlands Connect with Environmental Assessment (Lot 6c), including aspects such as natural capital, carbon quantification, and ecology advice.
Sitting in the heart of the country, and recognised as the UK economy’s engine for growth, the Midlands, and its strategic transport network, has a huge role to play in meeting the challenges of economic recovery and growth, levelling up, and climate change. Temple recognises these challenges and is excited to be able to use our specialist environmental planning skills to help drive benefits across the region.
It is anticipated that this framework will also be used by a wide range of partners including Transport for the West Midlands and over 20 local authorities. Temple is a market leader in the field of transport assessment, and we have exceptional and wide-ranging experience in the region, notably through our long history of involvement in HS2.
Temple’s Divisional Director, Infrastructure Projects and Programmes Andrew Bryant commented, “Centrally located, the Midlands is a pivotal hub for driving improved national transport connectivity and we are delighted to be supporting Midlands Connect and its partners to realise their ambitions in this exciting region.”
