Stephen is a Chartered Geographer specialising in data; from collection, to management, and dissemination. Joining Temple in 2013 as a consultant, he now leads the Digital Delivery Business Unit working internally and externally to leverage data and technologies to drive efficiencies and generate insights.
Since joining Temple Stephen has worked on a number of large infrastructure schemes including HS2 Phase One and 2b EIAs, HS2 Phase 2 Appraisal of Sustainability, and Northern Powerhouse Rail. In pursuit of delivering value and addressing specific challenges Stephen embraces innovative thinking with digital geography at its heart. Examples of this include developing an automated linear infrastructure appraisal tool; leading in the sphere of digital engagement; and the project management of a Virtual Reality app to view changes in environmental data.
Stephen brings together his interests in science and art through brewing beer in his spare time. He is also working on two niche vinyl collections: ‘Icelandic music’, and ‘albums from 2005’.
