Rosie joined Temple (formerly The Ecology Consultancy) in 2013 as an ecologist. After around 10 years working in the ecology sector she has now progressed to Principal level.
Rosie’s skillset is broad, having started her career with a focus on Preliminary Ecological Appraisals and GIS mapping, she now focuses mainly on protected species work. She holds a survey licence for great crested newts, and survey and mitigation licences for hazel dormouse. Other protected species she regularly works with include reptiles, badgers, bats and water voles.
Whilst working at Temple, Rosie’s particular focus has been on small to medium scale residential developments across the south-east of England. She has also had the pleasure of working on some rather bespoke projects, including some filming for George Clark’s Amazing Spaces!
When she is not at work, Rosie loves a good gallop and jump on her horse. She enjoys competing at local show-jumping competitions and on occasion gets to come home with a rosette.
