Maja joined Temple’s Air quality and Carbon team in January 2023, assuming the role of Carbon and Climate Consultant. She is a Practitioner Member of IEMA.
Since joining the team, Maja has been involved in delivery of climate change and carbon projects, performing carbon accounting, climate mitigation and adaptation/resilience assessments, and assisting in the formulation of Net Zero strategies tailored to meet the needs of various organisations.
Prior to joining this team, Maja worked in different business units, where she contributed to development of company’s training programme and implementation of the project management system. She holds a PhD degree in Polar Sciences, with a focus on climatological and glaciological studies conducted in Antarctica. This research experience equipped her with the ability to analyse complex data sets, discern intricate climate patterns and make predictions concerning future climate trends.
Outside of work Maja has a keen interest in self-sufficient farming, climate migrations and photography.
