Rhian Halford

Director - Environment & Consents

Rhian joined Temple in April 2016. She is an Associate Director and is responsible for leading Temple’s Environmental Management and Consents service.

Since starting at Temple, Rhian has developed the Environment Management and Consents Service in various sectors including major infrastructure projects such as HS2, Silvertown Tunnel and the Built Environment working on projects such as the Barking Riverside Regeneration Scheme. Her experience ranges from Environment Management and Assurance in Rail, tunnelling and Highways and presents key skills in areas such as consents, circular economy and stakeholder management. She has also undertaken international work by developing and delivering bespoke environment courses. Aside from her core work, she’s also been active in sharing her knowledge with our wider network, including running a Rail Week event for young professionals, involved in Temple’s Women in Infrastructure Group and producing thought pieces such as for CIRIA on ‘sustainable lessons for major infrastructure’.

Prior to working at Temple, Rhian worked as the EMS Manager at Crossrail. She was responsible for reducing the environmental impacts of Crossrail’s construction, which involved collaborative working with Tier 1 contractors.

Outside of the office Rhian is interested in running, cycling, watching rugby, travelling and reading.

Temple
