Peter joined Temple in 2012 and after spending 4 years in our London Office, now leads Temple’s Manchester office.
He is an experienced Project Manager and Project Director, working on a range of environmental assessment projects within the property and major infrastructure sectors. Recent roles of note include: providing expert technical environmental appraisal advice for Northern Powerhouse Rail, managing the EIA for Barking Riverside, one of the largest brownfield regeneration schemes in the UK, and acting as environmental consultant route lead for the entire eastern leg of HS2 Phase 2.
Prior to Temple, Peter worked at the London Borough of Tower Hamlets as their EIA Planning Officer; an experience which has been invaluable when providing support to a number of local authorities during their interactions with large infrastructure projects (e.g. the Thames Tunnel) and also when leading ES reviews on their behalf. During Peter’s sixteen years of working within the environmental assessment sector, he has also worked with PRP Architects, Halcrow and TRL.
Outside of the office Peter is an avid supporter of Arsenal Football Club, which always goes down well in Manchester, and enjoys eating cheese. He was once a part-time cheese monger and has even brought these skills to Temple, when we held our own wine and cheese event.
Peter is a Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv), holds the APM Project Management Qualification and is a Full Member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment.
