Chris Ferrary

Chris joined Temple in September 2011 as a Technical Director. He is now a Senior Director, responsible for several of Temple’s key EIA projects for transport infrastructure, and environmental management of transport operations. He also oversees the company’s customer care initiatives.

He led production of the Environmental Statements of HS2’s proposals in London, supported the hybrid Bill through Parliament, and is now helping procure construction contracts. In addition, he’s directed EIA studies for TfL, developed analytical techniques for the Transport Systems Catapult and led an environmental management audit at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He’s also presented at a number of events run by the RTPI and CIRIA.

Prior to working at Temple Chris worked for Steer Davies Gleave, where he prepared business cases and helped clients develop transport proposals. Prior to this, he worked for SKM Enviros, AMEC Foster Wheeler and ERM, after a local government career spanning 12 years.

Chris has a season ticket at Saracens, and enjoys music, literature, theatre-going and travel.
