Temple is pleased to announce that a hybrid planning application for the Signal Park Phase Two development in Tolworth was submitted to the Royal Borough of Kingston Upon Thames in November 2024.

Signal Park Square is a mixed-use development and will provide new affordable 1, 2 and 3 bedroom homes. Phase two of this project set out to create a new and vibrant neighbourhood in the Tolworth community and has set out to increase biodiversity and improve the wider natural network. The development will also develop the landscape design that prioritises sustainable living, increasing green amenity spaces and encouraging sustainable travel. This will include enhancing the cycle infrastructure and prioritising pedestrians where necessary.

Signal Park LLP appointed Temple to undertake the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) coordination and management role. The Signal Park Phase Two scheme will likely deliver approximately 965 new high-quality homes, flexible non-residential uses (Class E-commercial and retail spaces) and a community centre. The development will integrate sustainable energy sources, as well as providing cars (including Blue badge) and cycle parking.

Temple worked with the project team to undertake the EIA and coordinate the preparation of the Environmental Statement (ES) for submission as part of the planning application, within the agreed project programme. The experienced EIA team worked seamlessly to advise on potential design risks and provide design input to create sustainable development.

With Phase One of the  Park development already completed and the planning application for Phase Two of the Signal Park development now submitted, the Temple team is excited to see how the planning application progresses over the next few months.
