Brown Bag Breakfast with RTPI: The New EIA Directive, One Year till Lift Off
Temple will be hosting an RTPI affiliated breakfast briefing (in the style of our BBBs) on the practical implications for local authorities of the new EIA directive. The event will provide a run-down of what is changing, with a particular focus on application and response timescales, as well as council resources.
The session will update on the latest progress of the proposed changes to the EIA regime; the ‘in theory’ and ‘in practice’ implications for Local Authorities; the implications of recent changes to the NPPF, Housing and Planning Bill (including PiP regime) and then will finish with suggestions on how LPA’s should be preparing for the changes, as well as an opportunity for discussion and feedback.
Date: Wednesday 29th June.
