Temple has a proven track record in providing such expert opinion and is listed in the Expert Witness Register and the Law Society Expert Witness Directory. We can also supplement our in-house team by drawing on our exclusive Network of Associates, many of whom are leaders in their field.
At the outset, Temple will work closely with your legal team to understand your case. We are practiced at identifying and obtaining information from our opponents and statutory authorities e.g. Local Authority, Environment Agency, et al. Wherever appropriate we build a detailed timeline to help understand the sequence of events and, if required, collect new evidence. We also attend case conferences and hold ‘expert meetings’ with opposing experts as necessary.
Temple ensures all technical reports are written in plain English and avoid technical jargon wherever possible so that they can be easily understood by everyone. In addition to presenting facts and interpreting data, we will help develop and promote robust and structured arguments to support your legal representative in their case and prepare them for the potential arguments that your opponents may use. As only a minority of cases reach trial, advice of this nature is of great importance in pre-trial negotiations.

Charging Structure
Temple’s rates for legal support services are very competitive. We offer our services on a time and expenses basis with budget ceilings. Our rates for experts start at £60 per hour and for support staff at £20 per hour depending on the level of task complexity and expertise required.
