Chris Mew - Associate
Chris is a qualified transport specialist with over thirty years' experience. As Consultation and Objections Manager, he provided support in obtaining Transport and Works Act powers for the Thameslink 2000 project and previously carried out a similar role in the Crossrail project.
For the past eight years he has worked in the field of consents and planning issues both for major schemes and local authorities. These activities have involved widespread consultation with central and local government bodies, statutory authorities, Members of Parliament, transport user groups and members of the public.
Previous experience includes thirteen years as project manager for a variety of rail schemes with British Rail and Siemens Transportation, during which Chris was fully responsible for multi-disciplinary teams delivering to time and budget. Chris’s responsibilities in this field stem from a wide experience of railway civil engineering, operation and management.
