Services provided
Temple was contracted to carry out noise measurements during a test drilling for construction works at Gatwick Airport. The objective of the drilling test was to determine the range of noise levels in a BAA office building during the drilling and estimate the amount of disruption that may be caused during the construction phase.
Temple carried out multiple noise measurements at various points around the office building, and varying distances from the source.
Based on the noise measurement data, Temple evaluated the likelihood and extent of disturbance in the office occurring due to the construction works and produced a short, concise report outlining the findings and recommendations. Benefits
The services and advice that Temple provided meant the contractor was able to demonstrate to BAA that the construction work could be carried out with the minimum of disruption and complaint from occupiers of sensitive office locations.
