PROJECT Docklands Light Railway (DLR) Dagenham Dock Extension CLIENT TfL / DLR Ltd SERVICE EIA and specialist studies, sustainability statement, flood risk assessment, carbon footprint and public consultation PROJECT PERIOD 2006 - 2009

PROJECT OUTLINE

This 6.5km extension of the DLR network in East London was proposed to extend from Gallions Reach in Newham to a new terminus at Dagenham. Temple completed the specialist studies and delivered the Environmental Impact Assessment and Environmental Statement as part of the TWO application to a challenging timescale. Temple was engaged in consultation with statutory consultees and local communities and affected parties. The scheme was deferred during 2008/09 and is now being progressed as an extension of the London Overground network at Barking Riverside.
