Services Provided
Temple have carried out a review of land train systems on behalf of English Heritage with a view to a similar system being provided at a World Heritage Site. The review has included the environmental and operability of the various systems including the primary environmental impacts of air emissions and noise. We have considered the various power trains available and have advised on the acceptability of the system and appropriate mitigation measures.
Benefits
Temple were able to bring a significant high level of resource to the project with over 30 years experience in transportation systems particularly related to guided and LRT systems. Utilising best available technologies we have built simulation software models to determine the environmental performance and to determine the effects of specific mitigation interventions.
