Services provided
Temple, working with Halliburton KBR, provided input into team meetings and stakeholder liaison and specialist environmental input into reviewing a number of transportation scenarios including a total congestion charging scheme, M25 lane widening and ramp metering. The purpose of the study was to develop a long-term sustainable management strategy for the M25 and transport corridors around London. The study was designed to provide solutions to how different transport modes and measures could support the objectives set out in the Transport White Paper.
Temple was involved in testing the environmental impacts of the various strategies including modelling 30,000 road links to determine the strategy impacts on the population and changes in affected population for the scheme scenarios.
Benefits
Temple presented a unique understanding of specialist subject areas allied with transportation and sustainability issues. This was extremely valuable as part of the stakeholder consultation.
